About Us
MELODY
Melody began performing from a young age through classical ballet, piano, and vocal training. After a ballet injury at 14 shifted her path, she devoted herself fully to music, dance, and performance.
By 16, Melody was modeling and appearing in Japanese commercials while pursuing her dream of becoming a professional singer. After training in Tokyo and later in Los Angeles, she moved to Japan at 19 to begin her music career.
Melody rose to fame as a J-Pop artist with a chart-topping debut album and collaborations including the iconic hit “Miss You” with m-flo. Alongside releasing five studio albums, she expanded into television, radio, modeling, voice acting, and design.
Now returning to music with complete creative freedom, Melody continues to create heartfelt, uplifting music inspired by healing, love, and connection.
CHRISTINE
As the third of four sisters, Christine discovered her love for music through classical piano and songwriting at an early age. Inspired by new-age artists such as Enya, Yanni, and Ray Lynch, she began composing original piano pieces as a teenager before eventually creating digital music with her first Triton synthesizer.
While modeling and hosting Japanese travel television programs in Hawaii during university, Christine continued refining her skills as a songwriter and producer before eventually moving to Japan. There, she produced many of Melody’s songs, including “Love Story,” “READY TO GO!,” and “Dear Love,” while also composing music for films, television, and video games under the alias KURIS.
Though much of her work took place behind the scenes, Christine always carried a dream of one day creating and performing music alongside her sister. Melody & Christine brings that vision to life through atmospheric electronic pop inspired by energy, emotion, frequencies, and human connection.
